Entry-level, low mileage shoes are usually running shoes that are designed for entry level runners (the young, or beginners) which offer adequate cushioning, support, & traction with less technology or materials than a higher priced shoe. Also, the low mileage is an indicator that the rubber outsole may not last as long as a higher priced shoe. These shoes are good in deciding whether a person will like the sport (running) without investing too much in the equipment (the shoes).
