The Nike Musique IV - Women's, is more of a indoor training shoe vs. a shoe that should be used specifically for walking.

Is this shoe good for cheer/tumbling?

My feet start to hurt when I land a tumbling run or throw a jump because of the impact. Would these shoes be good?

The women's Nike Musique IV shoe is designed as a cheer shoe and uses a Phylon™ midsole for impact protection and cushioning. The manufacturers have focused the construction of the shoe for performance with not only lateral movement, but for the ups & downs of cheerleading and the strains that are put on the feet during this activity.

No, I would not recommend this shoe for running. This shoe is designed more for dance. Running requires an entirely different movement.

It seems the women's Nike Musique IV shoe was developed to be a cheerleader training shoe, yet it would be your preference as to whether you feel comfortable running in the shoe as well. It still is a training shoe that has good quality, and should be comfortable enough to run in. My only concern would be if there is enough cushioning in the shoe to make long runs comfortable also.
